English technical guide: SIM/eSIM Compatibility Diagnosis

This page is the English companion to the corresponding SolQvia Japan guide. It preserves the diagnostic boundary used by the Japanese article: distinguish device settings, carrier/account conditions, radio compatibility and service provisioning instead of treating them as one problem.

Recommended diagnostic order

  1. Confirm the exact device supports eSIM and the carrier has issued the profile to the correct EID/IMEI.
  2. Keep a stable Wi-Fi connection while downloading the profile.
  3. Use the carrier QR code, app or manual activation fields exactly as issued. Do not enter APN values into eSIM provisioning fields.
  4. After download, make sure the line is enabled and selected for the intended role.
  5. If the profile is present but data fails, check APN; if voice fails, check VoLTE/IMS separately.
  6. Do not delete the existing working eSIM until the reissue/transfer path and SMS/2FA access are secured.

Important boundary

Do not treat a single successful check as proof of full compatibility. SIM recognition, mobile data, voice, SMS, eSIM provisioning, APN and 5G can succeed or fail independently. Preserve a known-good state before factory reset, eSIM deletion or account removal.
