The same iPhone 17e name can hide a different SIM layout: A3575 is trayless in Japan, while A3634/A3635 regional versions have a physical SIM path.

  • Sales channel: carrier model numbers and manufacturer-direct variants are kept separate.
  • Regional hardware: iPhone A-numbers, Pixel G-models and Galaxy SM-models are treated as hardware identifiers.
  • SIM layout: eSIM support and the presence/number of physical SIM slots are separate fields.
  • Radio: LTE/5G bands do not automatically prove VoLTE/IMS or carrier operation.
  • Japan-specific features: FeliCa/Osaifu-Keitai and regulatory conformity are not inferred from another region.
