Review Apple/Google account and trusted devices

Restore authentication on a replacement SIM/eSIM and device
Remote erase only after deciding recovery is unlikely

On Apple devices, do not remove a stolen device from Find My because that removes Activation Lock. On Android, erase ends further location tracking in Find Hub, so consider location, lock and account recovery first.
