English technical guide: 2024 iPhone Region eSIM Band Compatibility
This page is the English companion to the corresponding SolQvia Japan guide. It preserves the diagnostic boundary used by the Japanese article: distinguish device settings, carrier/account conditions, radio compatibility and service provisioning instead of treating them as one problem.
Recommended diagnostic order
- Confirm the exact device supports eSIM and the carrier has issued the profile to the correct EID/IMEI.
- Keep a stable Wi-Fi connection while downloading the profile.
- Use the carrier QR code, app or manual activation fields exactly as issued. Do not enter APN values into eSIM provisioning fields.
- After download, make sure the line is enabled and selected for the intended role.
- If the profile is present but data fails, check APN; if voice fails, check VoLTE/IMS separately.
- Do not delete the existing working eSIM until the reissue/transfer path and SMS/2FA access are secured.
Important boundary
Do not treat a single successful check as proof of full compatibility. SIM recognition, mobile data, voice, SMS, eSIM provisioning, APN and 5G can succeed or fail independently. Preserve a known-good state before factory reset, eSIM deletion or account removal.
